The Baths of Blackwolf Run to Open in 2021

Kohler Co., the Wisconsin-based manufacturing, real estate and hospitality company, is planning to open a new golf course next year in Kohler in Sheboygan County.

Located on 27 acres between the first and 11th holes of the Meadow Valleys course at Kohler’s at Blackwolf Run golf course, The Baths of Blackwolf Run is named for Kohler’s history in designing bathroom appliances.

The Baths of Blackwolf Run course was designed by Chris Lutzke, also the project architect, and Herb Kohler, Kohler Co.’s executive chairman. The new par 3 course has 10 holes, ranging from 60 to 160 yards, and allows for three, six, or 12-hole experiences. It has four water features and a 2-acre putting course, food and beverage service, and special event capability.

“The par 3 and putting courses will provide a dynamic experience for our international guests and local community,” Kohler Co. said in a statement. “It is important for these courses to aid in our continuing efforts to grow the game by creating opportunities for players of all skill levels.”

Kohler Co. owns and operates several golf courses, including Whistling Straits in Kohler, which will host the Ryder Cup in 2021 and was the site of the 2015 PGA Championship.

Blackwolf Run hosted the 1998 and 2012 U.S. Women’s Open.
