TEAM
Chris Lutzke started at 18 years old, working under Pete Dye on one of his most famous courses, Blackwolf Run. From the jump, Pete Dye took an interest in Lutzke’s ability and creativity when it came to designing courses in a way that gives form to seemingly formless terrain. With two degrees from Michigan State University in turf science and landscape architecture, Chris remains among the nation’s most talented course architects.
Chris has traveled the world designing some of the most beloved golf courses in the game, including The Baths at Blackwolf Run, Teeth of the Dog, Eagle Eye, and partnered with Pete Dye on many past projects before his passing as well.
Chris Lutzke works hard from dawn to dusk, and his career is solid proof of that work ethic.
